Description
Here we have a pretty antique sterling silver case. It would be perfect for storing small items in. It comes in a lovely presentation bag and would be a great gift.
It was made by Henry Williamson Ltd and is Hallmarked for Birmingham 1914.
The exterior is beautifully shiny. It has the initials shy elaborately engraved in the corner of the lid.
The hinge and clasp work well. Inside is a pretty Gilded interior. The Hallmarks are on both the inside of the lid and base.
measurements
It measures 8.5cm by 6.7cm (3 3/8 inches by 2 5/8 inches). The depth is 1cm (3/8 inch). It would be ideal for storing or carrying small items around in.
It weighs 66.5g.

Beeches Vintage has clarified that the Antique 1914 Sterling Silver Case (LA472146) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1914
condition
It is in good condition with just a couple of very small dints which aren't very noticeable. The interior has quite a few marks to it which adds to its history.
