Antique 19th century Victorian carved oak bookcase, a very well made and fine quality example showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and detail. This impressive piece features a highly carved exterior, with particularly intricate work to the top and drawer front, reflecting superb attention to detail. The upper section comprises a glazed cabinet with two internal shelves, set against a striking red interior, ideal for display. Below is a central drawer and a blind door cupboard with a single internal shelf, offering practical storage. The piece comes complete with a key. Raised on square legs, the bookcase has a sturdy and well-balanced form, while the oak displays gorgeous grain and rich colour throughout.
