Description
A late 19th-century pedestal desk in the Jacobean style offers a blend of historical charm and high-quality craftsmanship. Made from rich oak, this desk features a distinguished brown leather top, providing a classic and functional work surface. The desk is equipped with nine drawers—four on each side and one centrally located—each adorned with original brass handles, which contribute to its traditional elegance.
The desk rests on sturdy bun feet, enhancing its stability and classic aesthetic. The oak wood displays a beautiful grain and deep colour, reflecting exceptional quality and attention to detail. Although the desk does not come apart, its solid construction ensures durability and long-lasting use.
In good solid condition, this pedestal desk is a striking piece that combines the grandeur of Jacobean design with practical functionality. Its presence makes it a sophisticated addition to any office or study, blending historical style with modern utility.
