Antique 19th Century Walnut & Oak Large Oval Gateleg Table / Gate-leg Drop Leaf c.1880

This is a charming 19th Century walnut and oak large oval gateleg table that is solid, strong and has no loose joints. The mechanism works freely. This excellent piece is a beautiful example and one not to be missed. Rare and attractive, the table is in very good vintage order. A very handy and compact piece of furniture for any home. When part extended it can be used as a desk or for supper for two; fully extended it can seat several people for dinner; and when fully collapsed it can act as a hall or side table.
