This is a stunning, fine and impressive antique 3.90 carat opal and 0.50 carat diamond, 18 carat yellow gold trilogy ring; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections This stunning, fine and impressive antique opal ring has been crafted in 18 ct yellow gold. The pierced decorated, multi-claw setting displays a large central four claw set cabochon cut white opal, flanked to either side with a claw set cabochon cut opal, totalling 3.90cts. The feature stones are each segmented with vertical arrangements of three Old European cut diamonds, totalling 0.50ct. The elevated, scrolling leaf decorated ring shoulders integrate with the claw settings and blend seamlessly with the plain 18ct yellow gold ring shank. This antique trilogy ring has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 carat gold. This impressive three stone opal gold ring is supplied with an independent diamond and gemstone grading report card. Such a large opal combination in this style of ring is unusual and becoming increasingly difficult to locate. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
