A stunning, fine and impressive antique 4.16 carat blue sapphire and 0.45 carat diamond, 12 karat yellow gold and silver set wreath brooch; part of our diverse collection of sapphire brooches. This stunning, fine and impressive antique brooch has been crafted in 12k yellow gold with silver settings. The circular wreath style setting is encircled with eight impressive claw set round faceted cut sapphires, totalling 4.16cts. The sapphires alternate with scrolling ribbon-style silver settings, each incorporating five pavé set Dutch cut diamonds. This sapphire brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged pin and catch. The brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 12 karat gold and silver. The brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond and gemstone grading report card. Such period brooches bearing a solid gold frame to the reverse is unusual and indicates the high quality of the piece.
