Antique 48ct Carnelian Jasper & 18ct Yellow Gold Pendant c.1880

This is an exceptional, fine and impressive antique 1880s 48 carat carnelian jasper and 18 carat yellow gold pendant; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections This exceptional, fine and impressive antique pendant has been crafted in 18ct yellow gold. The pendant features a three dimensional carved 48ct carnelian jasper, in the form of a hand with clenched fingers. The carnelian is suspended from a plain scalloped setting, accented with a ribboned edge in a stylised cuff design. The antique pendant suspends from an 18" 18ct gold curb chain via an integrated ring loop and securing with a conventional spring bolt fastening. This antique yellow gold carnelian pendant has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 18ct gold. The pendant is supplied with an independent gemstone grading report card. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds.
