Magnificent, fine and impressive antique 5.73 carat diamond and platinum Art Deco brooch; part of our diverse collection of diamond brooches. This magnificent, fine and impressive Art Deco brooch has been crafted in platinum. The centre of the pierced decorated, elongated frame is ornamented with a stunning feature millegrain decorated collet set 0.75 carat Old European round cut diamond. The feature diamond is flanked on either side with two millegrain decorated collet set Old European round cut diamonds, graduating in size in a horizontal linear array. The feature diamond is enveloped with a central swept design, incorporating twenty-eight impressive pavé set diamonds. Either side of this stunning central formation is ornamented with impressive pierced, millegrain decorated opposing foliated decoration amidst thirty-four pavé set Old European cut diamonds. The brooch is further encompassed with a paralleling border of sixty-eight Old European cut diamonds, completing the Art Deco design. The brooch secures to the reverse with a hinged yellow gold pin and safety catch. This Art Deco diamond bar brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as platinum. This 1920s brooch is supplied with three Idgl diamond grading report certificates for the feature stones, in addition to an Idgl diamond grading report card for the supporting stones. This stunning, finely and intricately detailed brooch is the finest of its type you could hope to acquire. Images do not always reflect the true colour and brilliance of gemstones and diamonds. The video however provides a truer representation of the actual colour and showcases each stone.
