A stunning, fine and impressive antique Edwardian 5.88 carat diamond, silver and 14 karat yellow gold set star brooch: part of our diverse Edwardian jewellery collection.
This stunning, fine and impressive diamond brooch has been crafted in silver with a 14k yellow gold fastening.
The tiered stellate design is ornamented with a feature central claw set 0.78ct Old European cut diamond.
The feature diamond is encompassed with eight claw set Old European round cut diamonds.
The eight floriated-style points of the brooch are each embellished with six pavé set Old European cut diamonds, graduating in size dependant on location.
The tiered stellate style setting is further ornamented with eight protruding collet set Old European round cut diamonds, bearing plain stems, completing the design.
This versatile brooch secures to the reverse with a detachable 14k yellow gold hinged pin and clasp fastening; the detachable fastening enables the piece to be converted into a pendant if required, in addition to indicating the high quality of the piece.
This stunning Edwardian diamond brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as silver and 14 karat gold.
This impressive brooch is supplied with an IDGL diamond grading report certificate for the feature stone, in addition to an IDGL diamond grading report card for the supporting stones.
