I have dealt in antiques and collectables for decades and have attended fairs across the globe. Now that I am advancing in years my son, Nate, is slowly taking over and moving items online more than physical. Primarily I deal in watches and jewellery but have lots of other interesting stuff. We are not a big business so will only be adding stock as and when we can and will respond to all enquiries as time permits.

Description
It is so nice to see that brooches are increasing in popularity as they are one of the most versatile pieces of jewellery you could have. Nowadays they are used to adorn both men's and women's outfits - see Tulsa King for men wearing brooches. A bar brooch like this could be worn on so many pieces of clothing providing a patriotic statement or even as a unique hanger for your OBE (as shown). ABOUT THIS BROOCH Constructed from solid 9ct gold (375 parts per 1000) Fully maker assay marked old style UK. X-ray tested. Dates to latter end of the 19th Century (c1890s) The style is classic Victorian, of very sturdy construction and high quality. Features the insignia for the Royal Artillery Corps and the motto "Ubique quo fas et gloria ducunt" which means "Everywhere, Whither right and glory lead" Lovely blue enamel detail on the logo. Fastens with a hinged pin and C hook clasp - all in good order. Condition is excellent, especially considering its age. Length is 51.5mm. Width is 17 mm. It sits 6 mm proud. Weight is 4 grams (to nearest) Purchase price includes worldwide tracked and insured postage - USA will vary due to tariff changes. Returns accepted under the terms of the 2015 Consumer Rights Act (we don't quibble) CONDITION I try to let honest photography give the best overview of condition. I do not use professional photographers (you'd just have to pay more if I did) and do not photoshop or enhance pictures in any way. I simply take macro pictures in a homemade lightbox to provide the most honest portrayal possible. I clean lightly before snapping but do not polish to "as new" though this can obviously be done. It is only my opinion but I feel antique items that are polished too much lose some of the character. I will always note any faults and will always answer honestly when asked regarding any imperfections.
