A beautiful antique 9ct yellow gold seal fob. It is a spinning fob, cased in decorative floral engraved gold, one side set with a smooth dark green bloodstone and the other with a carved sardonyx bearing initials. The initials, in fancy script, appear to be JW or IW. The top of the seal is shaped intricately like a lyre with an integral loop at the top. The bloodstone remains un-carved so this could be personalised. It is unmarked, tests as 9ct gold, William IV era c1830's. Would make a beautiful pendant, Albert chain fob or bracelet charm. Condition: Good used condition overall, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, there is a small hole in the gold in the lyre, the bale at the top has been replaced with a base metal one, there is evidence of soft solder on the piece. Approx measurements: 1" height 0.5" width at the base Weighs approx 2.72 gram Any questions or queries please contact us. FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING.
