Antique All Bisque William Goebel Bathing Beauty / Belle Figure with Mandolin and Mohair Wig c.1910

On offer is this antique all bisque bathing belle produced by the German factory of William Goebel and illustrated on page 45 of "Bawdy Bisques & Naughty Novelties" by Sharon Weintraub. This bathing beauty measures 5 inches long and 3.5 inches in height. This William Goebel lady is made of the finest sharp bisque and workmanship. This bisque beauty sits elegantly with one leg casually folded over the other and crossed at the calves. Her upper body leans forward over the mandolin that she is playing. Her long, slim right hand has a separate thumb and index and pinky fingers which are held gently over the mandolin. Her head is also turned to the side and this lady wears a brown mohair wig.
