Description
An Arts & Crafts oak bookcase with three open shelves and featuring pierced quatrefoil cut-outs to the top, set over a lower open magazine rack with a decoratively pierced front panel.
A practical, compact bookcase with space below for magazines or newspapers, ideal for use in a study, sitting room or beside a desk.
Very good antique condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use. There is a minor historic loss to the top edge of the magazine rack and evidence of old worm to the front panel, long inactive. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
English, circa 1920.
