An exceptional, fine and impressive Austro-Hungarian seed pearl and 15 carat yellow gold bird brooch; part of our diverse antique jewellery and estate jewelry collections.
This exceptional, fine and impressive bird brooch has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold.
The 1890s bar style brooch is accented with a total of nine seed pearls incorporated within blosson designs to the naturalistic branch.
The brooch is ornamented to either end with a yellow gold bird featuring a textured finish replicating the details of the plummage.
The brooch secures with a hinged pin and push-pull/trombone safety catch.
This antique brooch is hallmarked to the underside of the bar with a maker's mark (Gn) and the Austro-Hungarian fox head mark (A, Vienna / 4, 580 standard).
The brooch has been tested using state of the art technology (Niton Xl2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 ct gold.
This impressive brooch is supplied with an independent gemstone grading report card.

This antique bird brooch is excellent quality, set with pearls displaying fine colour and lustre.
The brooch is a superior gauge of gold, and is in excellent condition, with clear hallmarks to the underside of the bar; the goldsmiths has been able to strike hallmarks due to the superior gauge of gold.
