Antique Bakhtiar Rug 2.11m x 1.33m

A fabulous antique Bakhtiar rug, woven circa 1910. The design features a large lozenge medallion on a ‘mille fleurs’ (thousand flowers) green field and particularly attractive terracotta border. Lovely wool quality and stunning colours make this a very decorative and sought after rug. Size: 2.11m x 1.33m (6ft 11in x 4ft 4in) This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, very slight (and small) area of blushing on the red ground, barely noticeable (see photos).
