Description
This is a beautiful antique Baluch carpet from the Persian Afghan Frontier with a bright and warm colour palette. The carpet dates from the late 19th century and has much charm and character. The indigo honeycomb lattice field of stylised flowers is enclosed by a very cheery, madder red deep border of stylised plants. The carpet retains its kilim ends and selvedges and has a good pile.
