Antique Belouch Rug 1.64m x 0.90m

A wonderful antique tribal rug, hand woven by the nomadic Belouch tribe circa 1900. The rug features an unusual all over design of large repeating flower heads on a charcoal grey field surrounded by a terracotta border. Finely woven with soft, lustrous wool and great secondary colours. Size: 1.64m x 0.90m (5ft 5in x 3ft) This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, some oxidisation to the charcoal grey, not unusual in this type of rug (see photos).
