Antique Blue Overlay Cone Perfume Scent Bottle Sterling Silver Lid Birmingham 1914

This antique perfume bottle is tall and slim and stands 11.5 cm in height. The bottle has a flattened base so can stand upright without support. The perfume bottle is made of Bristol blue over clear glass and is masterfully cut in a series of crosses which beautifully display the layered glass. This bottle is fitted with a sterling silver collar and hinged lid. The collar is hallmarked for Birmingham 1914 and there is a maker's initials, although these are now partially rubbed. The bottle retains the clear glass inner stopper. This fine antique scent bottle is offered in very good condition with no cracks or fractures to the glass body, neck and stopper. The silver lid fits firmly and securely and has no dents or dings.
