Antique Brass Book Shaped Box

A handsome antique 19th century brass tobacco box. It is designed as a book with a lock to the side but no key, when opened it has a large central compartment with a lift up lid housing three more separate compartments. It has light engraving on the 'spine' to give it a more realistic feel. Very likely a tobacco box and would be a great addition to the smoking room or collection but could also be used in a multitude of ways such as for storing keepsakes or as an art box for example. Condition: Good used condition overall, some light surface dents across the piece with an aged patina and lived in feel, there is no key for the lock.
