This is a really wonderful carved Italian walnut table which dates from around 1860. The parcel gilt table has a very entertaining design with four young men forming the corner supports looking resplendent with stylised hands on hips and full wavy hair. This is a very decorative stand alone piece. It is in very good order retaining its original gilding to much of the piece and a has delightful patina to the solid walnut.
