Description
Offered for your consideration is this antique coin purse dating circa 1880. This purse measures 6.5 cm in width by 4.5 cm in height. The purse has plain mother of pearl panel to the back and very detailed carved mother of pearl front in high relief featuring a seated lady and child in pastoral setting. The purse has firm closure and clasp and opens to a 3 sectioned concertina interior in green silk and closed section at the centre.
This antique purse is offered in good condition with no damage to the mother of pearl surfaces. The interior silk has some normal usage marks but is in good order with no soiling.
