Antique Caucasian Rug 2.58m x 1.25m

A beautiful antique Kazak long rug, handwoven in the Caucasus mountains of Central Asia circa 1910. The design features 5 geometrical medallions on a gold field and some fabulous secondary colours. Note the way the border design changes throughout the rug. Size: 2.58m x 1.25m (8ft 6in x 4ft 1in) This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear. Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned. 2 old areas of repair in 2 corners (see photos). Slight corrosion to black in minor borders. Free worldwide shipping.
