Antique Charles Horner Sterling Silver Amethyst Jewelled Hat Pin Chester 1907

Antique Charles Horner hatpin fully marked with a full set of English hallmarks for Chester 1907. The hat pin also bears the CH initials for Charles Horner. This antique hat pin is illustrated on Page 151 of Tom J. Lawson's book "Charles Horner of Halifax". This hat pin measures a total of 18.5cm in length and the head alone is 2.5 cm in length. The silver head has a cut and faceted amethyst glass jewel at the centre. The glass jewel is cut flat on one side and with a point on the other. The hat pin head has no damage with no dents or dings to the silver and the amethyst glass stone has no chips or cracks. The steel pin is long and straight and ends in a sharp point and has some normal age related tarnish.
