Antique Chinese 1920's Carpet

A stunning example of an Antique carpet, hand woven in Tianjin, north-east China, circa 1920s with a small medallion surrounded by Chinese motifs on a soft green field and navy-blue border with lovely secondary colours of reds and golds. Note the small butterflies in the main field. Size: 3.65m x 2.74m (12ft x 9ft) This carpet is in good condition with light, age related wear. Small corner of fringe is missing, otherwise the fringes and selvedges are secure, and it has been professionally cleaned. A couple of surface marks which are barely visible. Free worldwide shipping.
