Stunning and quite rare Hand Painted English Porcelain Coalport Pair of Cabinet or Wall Plates Still Life of Fruits, hand decorated by renowned English Artist Frederick H Chivers, of outstanding quality and large size. Circa 1910-20. Painted with a still Life of fruits depicting a large pear, apple, a peach, grapes and blackcurrants on a mossy and ivy clad bank, each signed lower left, within a broad cobalt blue wavy border enriched with lavish tooled 24ct. gilt scrolls, dentil rim, dark cobalt blue borders, painted crown mark as shown.
