Antique Copper Log Bin

This is a really large solid copper log bin with great storage capacity for logs dating from the early 20th century. The polished copper vessel has a lovely colour and has solid brass mounts with three leather carrying straps to the body and is raised on three painted and gilded hairy paw design legs that can be adjusted up or down for height. The log bin has originally been a fine kettle drum by Parsons of Birmingham and has the manufacturers stamp to the side. This is a really useful and imposing storage solution for logs measuring in 63cm diameter and is shown at 68cm high but can be raised another 12cm on the adjustable legs.
