This is an antique dandy's travelling valet set. An English, sterling silver butler's grooming case by Mappin & Webb, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Fascinating 10 piece grooming set, presented in a delightful green travel case
Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout, with minimal tarnishing
Quality silver tools, each presenting bright tonality and tactile finish
Personal monogram to the case exterior, the gold tooling matching the pinstripe to the edge
Comprises a pair of lidded pots, a moustache brush and grooming tools
Tools presented upon champagne coloured velvet and lined in silk cotton
Mappin & Webb maker's mark adorns the lined lid interior
Each tool with the Birmingham assay mark and the lower case date letter 'L' for 1910
