This is an antique decorative cheese keeper. An English, ceramic butter dish, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Wonderful decorative pattern and colour to this keeper displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Quality ceramic in a crisp white hue with vibrant decor. Well sized keeper lid sits upon an attractive plate. Adorned with gilt finish to the the navy blue leaves and handle.
