Description
This is an antique decorative plate. A Japanese, ceramic serving dish with blue Imari taste, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Dashingly decorative serving plate with appealing patterns displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. White ceramic form with petal shaped rim. Profusely detailed with a cobalt blue, red and green pattern. Medallion to centre hosts a bird flying amongst foliage. Maker's mark to rear cast into the ceramic.
