This is an antique decorative wall bracket. An English, carved oak frieze with green man masques in Gothic taste, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880.
Striking carvings with a trio of mythological portraits. Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order. Dark stained oak presents deep russet tones throughout
Skilfully carved in relief with representations of the mythical Green Man. Dressed with a pair of small mounting loops for ease of hanging.
This is a distinctive antique decorative wall bracket, with superb carved masques and Gothic overtones. Delivered waxed, polished and ready to mount.
