This is an antique dog figure. An English, nickelled cast iron pointer hound ornament, dating to the Edwardian period, circa 1910.
Striking a superb field pose, typical of the breed that displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Tactile nickelled cast iron form presents silvered tonality. Appealing detail to the coat, capturing the bushy leg feathering nicely.
