This is an antique dressing table sewing set. An English, ebony lidded pot and haberdashery accessories, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880.
Striking ebony set exudes elegance and appeal, displaying a desirable aged patina and in good order. Quality ebony presents alluring deep tonality. Skilfully crafted pieces, with gently chamfered touch points. Five pieces, with lidded pots, needle jar, bobbin stand and pin cushion. Lightly aged cushion as useful today as it was over 100 years ago.
