Description
One of the best examples of an 18th Century (circa 1760-177) English antique iron lark spit /toaster, I have purchased....it is in very good condition with six double spits, which can be raised or lowered, depending on the height of the down-hearth fire....it has an attractive round shaped finial, but what really pleases me, are the unusual "rolled" feet, I have not seen this design of foot on any examples before....in very good condition.
