Antique Edwardian 7ct Black Opal Diamond Sapphire Lavaliere Necklace 18ct Gold Platinum Circa 1905

A fabulous Antique Edwardian Lavaliere necklace adorned with a long pendant set with a deep blue Sapphire at the top (approx. 0.20ct) leading to a twinkling Old European cut Diamond (approx. 0.10ct) and finally a gorgeous natural Black Opal at the bottom (approx. 7ct). The beautiful Black Opal is one of the most highly prized of its kind. The dark colouration means that the flashes of brightness from within are much more stark and radiant than they are in lesser Opals. Flashes of ethereal green and bright blue burn within the stone, flowing as it moves like the Aurora Borealis. The pendant and chain are fashioned in 18ct Gold and Platinum and in excellent condition. It looks beautiful hung from the neck and boasts a wonderful combination of gemstones.
