Antique Edwardian mahogany bedside cabinet, a handsome and elegant piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship and lovely inlaid detail. The cabinet is fitted with a single panelled door with a turned wooden knob and brass hinges, opening to an interior with a single shelf. The door panel is decorated with an oval of string inlay, the top is string inlaid with a moulded edge and a shaped upstand to the back, and the cabinet stands on four elegant outswept legs, with ventilation holes to the back. The mahogany displays a beautiful flame figure to the door panel and a rich, warm colour with a deep patina. Presented in good condition, a very desirable bedside cabinet, perfect for a bedroom or as a lamp table in a living room.
