Description
A fine quality Edwardian silver sovereign case with decorative machine engraved spring loaded holders for a full sovereign and a half sovereign. The case is of rounded oblong shape and is opened by pushing in the sprung side button that also holds a generous suspension loop. The case locks shut when closed back together and is free from any engraving or personalisation. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1904, maker Samuel M. Levi and partial marks to the coin compartment edge covers, sprung discs and the side suspension loop.

It measures 5.5cm (2 1/8") long by 3.1cm (1 1/4") wide (excluding the side button and loop, 5cm / 2" including) and weighs 27g / 0.9ozt.
