An exceptional, fine and impressive, rare pair of antique Edwardian English cast sterling silver pepperettes / peppers modelled in the form of owls; an addition to our collectable silver collection.
These exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver peppers are realistically modelled in the form of owls/owlets.
These silver pepperettes have been embellished with details reproducing the birds' plumage and anatomical features.
Each of the silver owls retains the original, hallmarked push fit cover/head ornamented to the upper portion with pierced 'pepper' holes.
The underside of each owl bears the engraved presentation inscription 'Samuel'.
