An original antique English mahogany bracket clock by Grant of Fleet Street, London, numbered 372, dating to the early 19th century.
The clock retains its untouched, original condition throughout, offered exactly as found, with no modern restoration or cosmetic interference. Housed in a finely proportioned flame mahogany case with elegant swept sides, carved rosette terminals, and a stepped base, surmounted by its original brass finial.
The painted dial with Roman numerals is signed Grant, Fleet Street, London and is fitted with a brass bezel. The substantial brass movement, also signed and numbered, is visible to the rear and remains complete. Pendulum, bell, and key are present (see photographs).
