This remarkable piece features a sliding interlinked extending system, allowing the table to seamlessly expand from 67 inches to an impressive 145 inches (12 feet 1 inch).
Adding to its ingenuity, the table boasts hidden legs with brass casters that descend to provide additional support when extended, ensuring stability and functionality.
This beautiful table has a storied past, spending a significant part of its life on display at the Musee de la Renaissance in Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, located in the southwest of France. It was loaned from a renowned Chateau near Bordeaux, as depicted in the last photo.
