This is an antique figural doorstop. An English, brass and cast iron Lord Nelson door keeper, dating to the late Georgian period, circa 1810. Wonderfully antique figure, with superb weight and great colour displays a desirable aged patina and in good order. Quality brass presents wonderful golden hues. Shows Lord Nelson stood with sword to his side, over a tiered plinth. This is a fine antique figural doorstop, with a delightful appearance and great weight for keeping doors at bay.
