Description
This is an antique fold-over tea table in thuya wood. A late Georgian, English piece dating to the late 18th century. Rare to find and displaying beautifully. Attractive 'birds eye' grain detail in a wax polished finish. Good colour and a desirable aged patina. Rounded corners to the fold over top. Twin hinged leg supports swing out easily to support. Raised on tapering, square section legs to spade feet. Delineated with boxwood and ebony string detail. Ovular lozenge decoration featuring a burr panel to the frieze. It is of quality craftsmanship.
A rare find. Solid joints and construction, delivered waxed, polished and ready for the home.
