Description
Antique French marble top bombe commode chest in good condition & dating from around the 1920’s period.
It has a rouge marble top which is also in good condition & lifts off from base. The wood is mainly Kingwood & Rosewood, plus many other more exotic woods within the floral marquetry on the front & sides. This commode has gilt bronze mounts, handles, escutcheons & feet, all of which are well cast.
