Antique French Opera Glasses, Field Glasses, Enamelled Brass

An attractive pair of antique opera glasses made in France. These opera glasses are made from a gilt coloured brass (which can be seen under the black enamel where parts have worn) coated with a black enamel paint and the body bound with leather for comfort when holding. A lovely little pair of opera glasses that display nicely and they appear to still be in working order and have been tested by eye. Art Nouveau era, made in France. Condition: Good used condition overall with wear, a rattling sound can be heard on moving but no visual loose parts, wear to the black enamel, light surface wear and scratches.
