Antique French Porcelain Inkwell Armorial Crest Latin Motto

For sale is a beautiful French oval inkstand with hand-painted and gilded decoration. Although it is not marked, I believe it is 19th century and possibly made by Edme Sampson in Paris between 1860 and 1890. The decoration includes a cartouche with an armorial crest with the Latin motto 'Non sibi sed toti' (or 'not for self but for all'). The inkwell can be removed for cleaning and has metal mounts. The inkstand is about 18 centimeters wide and 14 cms deep and weighs a total of 319 grams. Condition with no chips or cracks. Minor wear and tear only.
