Antique French Sofa & Chairs Set Figural / Fabric / Carved

Offering for sale this wonderful carved solid oak sofa and chairs sourced recently from Brittany in France. Spectacular set of richly sculptured Neo-Renaissance style canapé with matching chairs boasting figural detail and upholstered seats. In terms of condition the sofa and chairs look amazing, we have cleaned, waxed and polished the set sympathetically to preserve the beautiful patina. On close inspection you will find light marks, surface scratches and old indentations. The fabric has a worn, faded pile. We found a small trace of old woodworm but this has been thoroughly treated again out of caution in the workshop. You won’t be disappointed with this furniture, it looks fantastic and super quality.
