Description
This is an antique game plate. An English, ceramic meat or poultry serving platter, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1870.
Delightful High Victorian ceramic serving piece, with excellent hand-painted colour. Displays a desirable aged patina and in good original order. White ceramic gently crazed, commensurate with age and gentle use. Superb colour palette accentuates the 'Well & Tree' Chinoiserie pattern. Maker's mark to rear for Minton, with the cypher mark indicating 1872.
This is a charming antique game plate, with appealing colour to the attractive pattern. Delivered ready to display.
