This antique silver hot chocolate pot is an excellent gauge of silver, excellent quality and in excellent condition. The engraved heraldic markings are crisp.
The French hallmarks struck to the underside of the base, surface of the body and handle socket are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the excellent gauge of silver.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this example of Georgian silverware.
