An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique George III English sterling silver salad servers; an addition to our Georgian silverware collection. These exceptional antique Georgian sterling silver salad servers have been crafted in a variety of the Old English pattern. The spoon has a plain rounded bowl and the fork has five tines. The anterior and posterior surface of each piece is embellished with impressive flat engraved foliate decoration; the ornamentation to the posterior indicates the high quality of the pieces. The anterior surface of each silver server is embellished with the contemporary engraved crest of out of a coronet, a lion's head erased. The reverse surfaces of these antique servers incorporate a pip to the terminal, in addition to a rounded heel to the bowl/drop. Each bowl is embellished with impressive chased decoration reproducing a leaf's vein structure. These exceptional solid silver salad servers are the finest of their type you could hope to acquire.
