Exceptional, fine and impressive set of four antique George V English sterling silver and enamel four-leaf clover menu / card holders; an addition to our diverse dining silverware collection. These exceptional antique menu holders, in sterling silver, have circular bases. The hallmarked anterior surface of each George V menu holder has been modelled in the form of a four-leaf clover design and embellished with fine green guilloche enamel panels. Each piece is surmounted with a plain circular design to the posterior. The bases of these impressive enamel and silver menu card holders are plain and unembellished, apart from the feature hallmarks. These impressive antique menu holders are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The enamel decoration is in perfect condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each base and the lion passant to each clover design stalk are very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver. Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of these enamel and silver menu card holders.
