This is a super antique George V sterling silver sovereign case measuring 1 1/4" (3cm) square and hallmarked for Chester 1913 with the silversmiths mark for John & William F. Deakin. It’s in very good condition with no damage, it weighs 17 grams and the area inside springs as it should. It's quite unusual being square shaped and has lovely decoration with no inscriptions or monograms. This lovely sovereign case will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
